For those of you that don’t know what a scratch night is it is basically a rehearsed performance of New Writing. Actors and writers apply for a slot on the night to perform a short section of their new plays. This is so valuable for new playwrights as there is no better way to see what works and what doesn’t work than putting it in front of an audience. You see some of the most exciting and engaging pieces at nights like this.

Not only do the actors and writers get a chance to show their new work but for many of them, as this is a paid job, this will be their first professional credit and will mean they can start building their CVs.

Come and support the next generation of playwrights and have a throughly enjoyable night at the theatre!

*No refunds or exchanges
